My Review:
Priana or Pria Grey is not the ordinary human she appears to be; she is a half vampire and half angel. She lives outside of Sanctum, much to the dismay of her half brother Keircnan Grey, head of Sanctum's Security.
Pria was going to the bank to make a deposit from the Maidenhart Bakery when she and her fellow bank customers are taken hostage, by a thief, Whitwater.. Whitwater demands that Detective Joe Carfaris come to the bank personally. Whitwater blames Joe for his current life and plans on killing him when Pria intervenes.
Pria is touched by Joe Carfaris's courage at saving her life. Her attraction to Joe is immediate and undeniable. Joe finds himself drawn to Pria as well something that has not happened before.
Meanwhile, Keirc has a secret of his own. He loves Iridea, daughter of the leaders of Demesne. He knows that he should give her up but can't bring himself to do it.
Sebastein is the ruthless leader of Demesne and his mate Ilea is a gentle soul. Ilea knows that Iridea is sneaking out of Demesne without security and tells her daughter that she must stop.
