My Review:

As many of you know, the Rough Riders Series by Lorelei James (LJ)  ended with Cowboy Take Me Away. Reading this book was really hard because it meant saying goodbye to some of my favorite characters and stories.

But LJ didn't disappoint in this final effort of the Rough Riders Series, either. Learning the true history between the West and McKay family feud was a great revelation.

Another great part was seeing the power of love through the years with Carson and Carolyn West McKay.

Even though it's sad to say goodbye, I'm glad this series ended on a high note. Rough Riders let me explore my love of cowboys with a bit of kink thrown in for good measure.

I'll miss the adventures of the McKay family, but I certainly have another series by LJ to take it's place - The Blacktop Cowboys Series.

I haven’t read any of the books in this series, yet, but I definitely look forward to reading them soon.

If you haven’t read the Rough Riders Series yet, I highly encourage you to check out Long Hard Ride book #1 in the series.
