Review: Kissin’ Tell (Rough Riders #13) by Lorelei James

9674572

She once led him around by a string. Now he's the one holding the reins.
Georgia Hotchkiss swore wild horses couldn't drag her back to Sundance, Wyoming. So it's ironic she's forced to take a rodeo PR job in her former hometown right before her ten-year class reunion. The only thing worse than facing her cheating ex-husband and his pregnant wife? Showing up to the reunion without a date. Fate smiles on her when she runs into her former classmate and current cowboy hottie Tell McKay. With his infectious smile and fun-loving ways not to mention his banging body he's the perfect solution to her problem.

Tell McKay had it so bad for Hot Lips Hotchkiss during high school that he let her run roughshod over him. But he is no longer that easily manipulated boy these days he's earned a reputation with the ladies that lives up to the McKay last name. He agrees to escort her to the reunion with one stipulation; that Georgia proves she has left behind the goody-goody cheerleader of the past by sharing his bed.
Their sexual chemistry flashes so bright, they barely notice that the reunion has come and gone, and now they're tangled up in another dreaded R word "relationship." But if Tell wants to get the girl this go-around, he'll have to come up with a whole new set of knots to tie up her heartstrings.
Warning: Contains a sweet talkin wild cowboy with a wagon load of crazy-hot sex fantasies and the mad bedroom skills to back up his claims.

My Review:

Tell McKay has always fantasized about Georgia "Hot Lips" Hotchkiss when in high school, no matter how many times she left him in the lurch saying one thing, then doing another.

But that was years ago. Now, Tell and Georgia's class reunion is coming soon and neither of them have dates.

Georgia is a PR promoter working out of Dallas who recently moved back to Sundance to fulfill previously signed contracts while drumming up business for new ones. Georgia never expected see Tell McKay while out with her best friend, Stephanie. She remembers the gangly boy, and is stunned by the cowboy hottie he turned into.

Tell agrees to take Georgia to their class reunion under the condition that they agree to be seen out together as couple. As Tell and Georgia get reacquainted with each other, they discover how much more they both have in common – bad family relationships, and other things.

Tell learns that Georgia doesn't go out to have fun and she has few friends. Tell sets out to see that Georgia learns how to have fun and gain a few friends along the way. Will Tell and Georgia burn up the sheets? Will Tell's fantasy come true? Will Georgia let Tell get close to her? Your answers await you in Kissin' Tell.

The Rough Riders Series by Lorelei James (LJ) happens to be one of my favorite series about cowboys. LJ does a fantastic job writing about this awesome family. I found Tell and Georgia to be fascinating characters who let their expectations get the better of them sometimes. This series is always real and believable in a real world, every day life sense. I think that's why I find this series so compelling. I’m looking forward to my next adventure in the series.
