Review: Rock Chick Reckoning (Rock Chick #6) by Kristen Ashley

Stella’s the lead singer and lead guitarist of The Blue Moon Gypsies and Stella used to be Mace’s girl. Mace broke up with her, though, and the loss of him rocked her world. But Stella gets a call, late at night (again) from one of the members of her crazy band. She has to go play clean up (again) and runs into Mace and a shed load of police, and ends up getting shot.
Mace finds he doesn’t like it much that his ex-girlfriend got shot right in front of him but it’s worse. A very bad man has thrown down the gauntlet and all the Rock Chicks are in the firing line.

Stella doesn’t want Mace to be the one to keep her alive, but she has no choice. Mainly because Mace isn’t giving her one.

My Review:

Rock Chick Reckoning features Mace and Stella´s story. We got a taste in the last book of this couple when she sang to him at their concert, and now we get to know their background. Unfortunately, they both have tragedy and baggage to carry, but together they find happier times.

This time around, the whole group is in danger. Someone is targeting every one of the Rock Chicks and the Hot Bunch has a lot to do to get them safe again.

As always, we get an action-packed read with a hot alpha male pointing with the whole of his hand and a heroine who doesn´t back down. I just love this sexxy banter! I also loved Stella´s spunk and that she didn´t have all too many brain babies talking to her, though she´s big on cursing Smile

I wonder what Kristen Ashley has planned for the rest of the series, though I’m loving everything so far! Smile

Rock Chick Reckoning features:

  • erotic
  • oral sex
  • suspense
  • alpha male
  • military
  • contemporary romance
  • humor
