Charles "Chase" Cutter is haunted by the past and unreachable memories. Chase thought seeing his old home would bring closure, but that didn't happen. Instead, Chase met a sledgehammer swinging woman who blew him away.

I think by far this is my favorite story and book of the series. The characters and story were raw, real, complex, complicated, intriguing, haunting, and mysterious too. I look forward to the next book in the series.
