Jase Reddick has one chance to be a cop again since he was let go from the job because of his twin brother's actions. Jase jumps at the chance to be a cop again even if it's undercover and in another state, too.
Jase is being asked to investigate Devin Marsh, owner of The Dive Bar. Devin Marsh is trying to hang on until she pays off her loan to her Uncle Cyrus "Cy" Marsh. Devin needs to know what is going on with her sister Mandy because she's not heard from her in a really long time. Devin keeps asking Uncle Cy if his investigator has found Mandy yet, but his answer remains the same that he hasn’t.
Devin longs to have her freedom from her Uncle Cy, yet can only achieve it thru monetary means. Devin and Jase being together isn't a very good idea, yet neither of them can deny their attraction to one another. Will Jase come clean about who he is? Will Devin learn the truth about her sister and uncle? Your answers await you in Vice.

I've definitely been waiting for this story since Jase's introduction in Colt. The brothers couldn't be more polar opposites in character. Jase isn't a boring alpha male who sometimes happens in cop dramas I've read in the past. Jase is definitely a tortured hero with something to prove to himself and others.
Devin isn't your wallflower heroine, either. She's gritty, tough, and vulnerable, too. I really loved this story. Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.
