My Review:
Spirit Bound, the fifth installment of the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead was a slow starter. The action doesn’t pick up until after 20% of the book, but the ups and downs in this story were just awesome and I’m so glad I stuck around!
As we begin Spirit Bound, Rose has a lot of things on her To Do List:
- Break out her #1 enemy from a maximum security prison
- Find out if Dimitri can really be restored back to a dhampir
- Figure out who she wants to be with: Adrian or Dimitri
Of course, that's just on the top of her list, but life has really got it in for her and throws her a curveball by naming her as the prime suspect in a high profile murder investigation.
It's clearly a set up job, but finding out who set Rose up is going to take awhile to figure out. Too bad the royals are clamoring for her immediate execution! Will Rose be able to check the items off her To Do List and clear her name? And what of the rumors that Lissa has a half sibling out there? *faints*
Can't wait to read on to the finale and find out how this story wraps up!
