My Review:

Nick Carlisle is living in Hawaii, going to college, surfing, and hanging out with his best friend, Gabe Thompson since his discharge from Army. But even though that sounds busy, Nick really isn't living life, he’s actually hiding from it, especially after what happened in Afghanistan.

Then, Nick and Gabe head to The Hilo Bar and Grill (The Grill) for drinks and good food. Life as he knows it takes a 180 degree turn as Nick spies a vision of perfection with blonde dreadlocks and a golden tan.

Lyndsey Anderson is hiding from her past and hopes to keep it that way. Leesa and Raoul, owners of The Grill, treat Lyndsey like a daughter. Leesa is always giving her advice on love and life: Live life don't waste it.

Lyndsey spies Nick at The Grill and Leesa’s words come full circle. Will Lyndsey take a chance and follow Leesa’s advice? Can Nick move on? Will either Nick or Lyndsey admit their attraction or will both their pasts haunt them? Your answers await you in Hidden.

After reading Camouflaged, I was deeply curious about Nick's story. Hidden definitely satisfied my curiosity.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) is all too common in today's society, especially in our men and women in the military, and Hidden does a great job delving into this subject. Nick and Lyndsey are such beautiful and wonderful characters who deserve a fair shake at life in more ways than one. I'm definitely glad to have read this book and I look forward to reading the next book in the series!
