My Review:

Catherine (Cat) Madsen left the sleepy town of Sweetwater behind for the bright lights and the big city. She never expected to be back in Sweetwater again. Yet her father's accident and secret knowledge of her former place of work made the decision that much easier.

Cat is hoping that her new business will be a welcome change to her previous life and she can move on from her past mistakes.

Reese Jamieson is a cop, who is in dire need of a vacation, yet it's not meant to be according to his supervisor. Reese is being tasked to investigate a young woman and her possible ties to a drug cartel.

Reese poses as Royce Higgins, a land developer and fitness fanatic. He learns early on that not everything is as it appears in Sweetwater.

Cat holds her first class of her new business which is full of ladies and one gentleman who takes her breath away. Cat discovers after class that her truck is vandalized, but she doesn't really want to show how much it's affecting her to Royce. Will Cat be threatened by more vandalism? Will people's opinion of Cat change? Will Royce come clean to Cat? Will Royce admit his feelings for Cat? Who wants to harm Cat? Your answers await you in Undercover Temptation.

I thought this book was really well written. The characters were great. I loved the underlying story that swept through out the book~nothing is as it appears to be. I believe this is the key element that made this book a page turner from the first word to last.

This is also my first experience with this author. Her writing style was easy to follow and it moved along at a good pace, too. I will definitely be enjoying more of Ms. McIntyre's works in the future.
