My Review:

My usual style of reviewing won't work for this book because of it's uniqueness. I don't know if you remember the Choose Your Own Adventure books or not, but I do. I had the most fun reading these types of books because you never knew what was going to happen. Instead, the story was based on the choices you made.

Surrender is very reminiscent of those books to me. I admit that I was skeptical at first, then thought: What the hell? And I went for it. I am so glad I did!

The unexpected nature of this book was fun and inventive in ways that hearken to the memory of my childhood, with an added adult flavor of course.

I applaud the author/s for being daring and innovative to make this type of reading truly fun and exciting again. I would definitely love to read more books like this in the future.

I love the unexpected aspect of reading this book because my decisions or choices created a whole new story before my eyes! I also read through the other two choices. I had to know what the other choices would bring to my reading adventure. I look forward to more books like this in the future.
