My Review:
Phoebe, an aspiring actress is eager to acquire an acting job. In order to do that, she’s going to have to find a patron and there is no one better fit for the description than the local rake, Viscount Ludovic DeVere.
But DeVere is not alone when Phoebe approaches him. His best friend, Ned ( a widower) is accompanying him. Ned and Phoebe are immediately drawn to each other.
DeVere, seeing that his friend, Ned, and the new girl at his feet love one another, makes him decide to interfere to bring them together. But just how far will he need to go to prove to Ned that Phoebe is the woman made just for him?
