My worst valentines day was a few days after an ex-boyfriend had broken up with me. So I had a necklace and watch for him, and no where to go.
ReplyDeleteA few days after Valentines day, he revealed he purposefully picked a fight so i would break up him and he wouldn't have to worry about doing anything for valentines day. He said he just knew I would take him back and it would all be forgotten fast.
I knew then he wasn't a keeper. It's one thing to do that, it's another to boast about it.
OMG So glad you got rid of him!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for stopping by and sharing - hope you have an amazing Valentine's this year!
Good luck in the contest, Ezinwanyi!

The best was the V-day right before we got married, we both needed a break from the craziness of all the wedding plans. So i booked a weekend at an inn on Cape Cod that had a weekend couples getaway called Cuddles & Bubbles! Great food, lots of fun, champagne, & a hot tub for 2! Just what we needed
ReplyDeleteThat sounds amazing, Kerry! I should totally do that this year :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by and sharing! Good luck to you in the contest!
My best valentine's day was the blind date I had with my now husband. Turned out to be a good thing.

My Valentine's Day is generally made up of work as I do not and never has had a man on Valentine's Day. Here's to someday breaking that streak!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day!

One of my fave V-Day memories has no romance. I was on bed rest due to blood clots in my leg and my sister came over & brought my nieces & nephew. We spent the day watching movies, eating popcorn, & goofing off.

My best Valentine's Day was last year, it was the first time I received flowers from my boyfriend. He sent me my favorite, stargazer lilies and purple tulips. This year I got stargazer lilies and irises. Gorgeous! :D
ReplyDeleteMy favourites have always been those that we spend at home together and have a nice meal and spend some time tgether :)

Best was when my hubby surprised me with a completely planned out from start to finish weekend getaway at a cool resort. It was pampering, relaxing and very romantic!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a best or worst Valentine's Day. It's just another day to me.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Winner is . . .
