My Review:
Kiss of Midnight is the first book in the Midnight Breed series.
Gabrielle is a photographer who finds herself smack in the middle of various gruesome incidents.
She goes clubbing with friends, but it doesn´t feel right. She´s being watched and no one seems to care or feel the same unease of being there.
Outside, she witness a fight that turns into a murder but no one, not even the police seem to take her seriously. That´s when Lucan enters the scene. =)
Lucan’s an old warrior who’s trying to keep her safe, but he can´t stop wanting her. She´s a Breedmate without knowing it, and has no idea of the Breed or vampires.
This series reminds me of J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood Series, but without the rap music and wannabe-tough types. I´ll gladly continue with this action-packed series and see where it leads.
