Arabella D'Court is a human in a supernatural world. She is a Basium Cruenta for Sanctum Haven and she's also in love with a vampire named Mich Odera.
Micah takes Arabella to the mating of Keircnan Grey and Iridea Galaurus which really pleases Arabella. Arabella has been in love with Odera as she calls him for a very long time. She would love it if Odera showed her that he loves her in return.
Ilea Galaurus is keeping her mate Sebastien chained up in room for Demense’s protection. Ilea only knows of a few people in the Demense that are loyal to Sebastien other's loyal to her. Ilea tells Sebastien of the mating ceremony she attended that night which only infuriates him.
Sebastien has a select group of loyal followers in his group and other's that prefer his rule of Demense over his mate Ilea's rule~the devil you know and all that. Ilea is trying to implement slow changes to the Demense, yet she worries about those loyal to her mate. Xavier is a vampire that is loyal only to Ilea and hates Sebastien fiercely.
