My Review:
Devyn Kell has famous parents who are known throughout the universe. Devyn, a former League member, is trying to do the right thing despite the League’s attempts to stop him. Devyn doesn't know what is wrong with his ship and can't find the source of the problem.
Aliz Gerran is trying to get away from her past as a slave, but Merjack won't allow that to happen period. Aliz is the way Merjack will use to bring Devyn down no matter the price. The more Alix gets to know Devyn, the more she's confused.
Aliz is stunned by the amount of name dropping that comes from Devyn's mouth which leaves her speechless as a result. When Devyn discovers that Alix has been lying to him and his crew, he wants to know why she's done this.
