4 Kiss Review: Fever by Kimberly Dean

31249659

Relentless heat. Uncontrolled desire. And a man to slake her every need…
Delia Jenkins is distressed when a raging fever forces her to leave work on the day before a big bid. She’s brand new on the job, but her delirium has pushed her to the point where she can’t think straight. She goes home to recuperate, but the heat inside her only builds. That night, a man shows up at her apartment to care for her. He’s concerned about her well-being, but the fervor has reached a ravenous pitch. There’s only one way to douse the flames.

It’s only after the fever breaks that Delia realizes her work situation has gotten hotter than ever before.

My Review:

Delia works as an accountant for a security company and she’s on a deadline to turn in a very important bid. But just as she’s about to crunch some numbers, she gets sick.

If only her super intimidating boss, Mr. Lloyd, wasn’t such a hard ass, she could go home and get herself well before she finished her work. But she knows she’ll get fired if she doesn’t complete her job.

One of her co-workers, Rob (the office hunk), takes one look at her and sees she’s got one foot in the grave. He quickly tells her to go home and when Mr. Lloyd comes to inquire about the status on the bid, Rob convinces Mr. Lloyd to let Delia go home.

Sure she’s about to get fired, Delia reluctantly goes home and is bogged down with a fever. But then a strange man comes in the night to her apartment and takes care of her, trying to keep her fever at bay.

But as a side effect, she can’t fully wake up and see who the man taking care of her is, nor can she control her raging hormones who desperately want her mystery nurse in every possible position! Can Delia’s fever break or will her insatiable cravings be the end of her? And who’s the mystery man in her bed?
