Timothy Banks is Hollywood's hottest star. He is funny, charming and utterly sexy.
I'm the girl who runs a pizza shop in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Population 2700.
He is a storm. I seek safe harbor. Timothy Banks does not belong in my life.
Why then, do I feel only yearning when I look at him?
My Review:
Tessa owns a pizza shop in a small town and like everyone in the world, crushes hard on Timothy Banks, the hottest Hollywood star.
So when his most recent film ends up at her backyard and he stumbles into her shop in the middle of the storm for shelter, she can’t help but be every bit as accommodating as possible – with her clothes off, of course.
But can they take what they started up to another level or was it just a one-time thing?

I had initially given this book a 2.5 rating, because it was just such a sudden progression from the start of their relationship. If only the author had given me a TINY scene where the local townsmen would constantly come onto Tessa and we could see she was beautiful and desired, then I would make that fast progression, too.
After all, I kept wondering how can a movie star who’s got access to the most beautiful women in the world suddenly show interest in a pizza shop girl and let her on his set, etc? There was just something missing for me to understand why they fell in together so quickly and then started doing confessionals and sharing their deepest, darkest secrets in the span of a night.
But it is what it is – plus it was a free read on Amazon (which has now been deleted). So, I bumped it up to 3 Kisses. In a way I’m glad it didn’t draw things out and got straight to the point. So, if you don’t like drawn out scenes or world building, but just – let’s-get-to-it writing, then this is the book for you – though I’ve got no idea where you can get it now :(
Storm features:
- erotica
- oral sex
- exhibitionism
- suspense
- quick read
- cliffhanger ending
Rating: 3 Kisses
