My Review:
Sarah Fairfax is about to marry Duke Ravenwood to prevent her unborn child from being a bastard. Yet Sarah doesn't love Duke Ravenwood, she loves Brigadier Edmund Blackpool, the unborn child's father.
Just as the priest announces they're man and wife, Brigadier Edmund Blackpool cries for the ceremony to stop.
Edmund, back from the dead has changed everything in Sarah's world. Edmund is very determined to make Sarah his bride. Edmund finds that life in London gives him terrible shaking spells.
Sarah is overjoyed that Edmund is alive, but feels that he's not the same man as before. Newly married Sarah and Edmund discover each other anew while working out how to be parents. Is Edmund the same man Sarah loves? Can Sarah accept Edmund as he is now? Your answers await you in The Brigadier's Runaway Bride.
