My Review:
Derek "Marz" DiMarzio recently reunited with his Special Forces teammates to uncover the truth of why they were dishonorably discharged and threatened with prison.
Marz helps the Team look for Manny Garza in connection with the investigation into the past. He discovers that Garza has a sister living in Annapolis.
He, along with his best friend, Murda, make contact with Emilie Garza. Emilie Garza is worried about her brother, Manny. She's seeing signs of instability and paranoia, but she doesn't know how to help him.
When Derek meets Emilie, his first instincts tell him that she's not a part of what Manny is involved in. Derek discovers that he really likes Emilie, but doesn't like lying to her either.

The Hard Ink Series has completely sucked me in with the incredible characters and their stories. I've liked Marz since his introduction. I'm so glad that he found Emilie.
Laura Kaye has clearly written a series that's compelling and intriguing. She's on my definite must-read-and-buy list.
