My Review:
Bastien Cabarro is a prince who no one in his family thinks very much of, nor is considered worthy of notice. Bastien loves Major Ember Wyldestarrin and he wants a family and future with her, but it's not meant to be.
Ember is threatened by Bastien's father that he'll never accept Ember as Bastien's mate. Then the unthinkable happens: Bastien's family is murdered and Bastien is blamed for it. Bastien pleads his innocence and vows vengeance to anyone who will listen. Can Bastien make good on his vows? Will Bastien be proved innocent? Where is Ember in all of this? Does Ember still love Bastien? Your answers await you in Born of Vengeance.

This is probably one of my favorite books of the series. Two star-crossed lovers reunite through blood and pain to realize several truths about one another. I love stories like this one! Kenyon's writing is crisp and haunting throughout the book. It sucks I've got to wait another year before the next book comes out though. Until then Happy Reading!
