Lady Amelia Pembroke runs Ravenwood Manor with an iron fist and complete efficiency. When she learns that the Annual Christmas Ball hosted by The Sheffields won't be held, she's devastated. She sets about correcting this at once.
Benedict St. John, Viscount Sheffield sets a strict twelve hour schedule from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. to do his duty, but from 8 p.m. – 8 a.m. he's all about play. When Benedict finds Lady Pembroke on his doorstep with a plan to save The Annual Christmas Ball, he's speechless.

Erica Ridley's writing is fun, interesting, honest, and real. Her characters are a joy to read. This is the third book I've read by this author. The book hits the ground running from first page to the last. I’m definitely looking to read more books in this series.
