Commander Eric DeStoia is tasked with escorting Segundo Doral DeLorian's sister, Lady Sophillia "Sophi" DeLorian to the capital. Eric is giving very little information regarding Lady Sophi.
Segundo DeLorian turned his sister Sophi over to the nomads roaming the desert wasteland called Oshtesh for very personal reasons.

This sequel lives up to the first book and then some. The characters are richer, bold, unique, and complex, too. The story is bolder, nail-biting and suspenseful, and most of full of surprises. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
